Helping Hands Medical Rides LLC is hiring a dependable, compassionate driver in Memphis, Tennessee.

Drivers transport clients to medical appointments, dialysis, therapy, and other scheduled destinations, providing safe and respectful service.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles and follow traffic laws.
Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle.
Operate wheelchair equipment and secure passengers after completing training.
Follow dispatch instructions and call clients before arrival.
Keep the vehicle clean, perform daily inspections, and promptly report maintenance concerns.
Complete trip records and protect client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to pass required background and driving record checks.
Reliable, punctual, patient, and professional.
Willingness to complete required training, including CPR/First Aid, PASS, and wheelchair securement.
Previous transportation or caregiving experience is helpful.

Pay: $12–$15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Location: Memphis, TN, with travel to surrounding service areas.

Are you willing to assist passengers and complete training to safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, and securement equipment?

Can you use a smartphone for navigation, dispatch updates, and trip documentation?

Are you willing to inspect and clean your assigned vehicle daily and promptly report problems?

What would you do if a passenger did not answer the phone or door at pickup?

How would you handle a passenger who is upset or needs extra assistance?

When would you be available to start?

This role requires patience, compassion, and respectful assistance for elderly passengers and people with disabilities. How would you help a passenger who moves slowly, feels anxious, or needs extra time getting into the vehicle?*
